Entrepreneurs win $40,000
 Business entrepreneurs have the chance to win $40,000 as winner of The Small Business Champions Awards.
The awards, which have been conducted in NSW for the last few years, have grown into a national competition in 2007.
The $40,000 prize for best entrepreneur includes a business coach and two return airfares to London to meet with successful entrepreneurs there. The awards themselves provide a tremendous opportunity for small business owners to examine their business and look at their strengths and unique capacity for success within their own market.
There are additional benefits like networking with other business owners, gaining community recognition and perhaps some media profiling. But the biggest benefit will be in the recognition of staff and customers who have supported the business and who would no doubt like to see them win.
